If you opt in on your onboarding form, Skyrise Voice asks any caller who wants to schedule whether it can text them a link to your calendar. If they say yes, it sends one text with your booking link so they can pick a time that works for them — which lands directly on your connected calendar. If they decline, no text is sent and their details are captured for you to follow up. Prefer to handle scheduling yourself? Leave booking off during onboarding and Skyrise Voice will just capture the caller's details. Want to change your setting later? Just contact us and we'll update it for you.
You still get the lead. Skyrise Voice always captures the caller's phone number, and during the call it also asks for their name, email, and reason for calling. So even if they never open the link, you know who called and how to reach them. Your summary notes that a booking link was sent and is still awaiting their pick, so you know exactly who to follow up with.
Every new Skyrise Voice number starts out brand new to mobile carriers, and some phones have spam/fraud-blocking features that can automatically block unfamiliar numbers, sometimes without any notification. If you're not receiving text summaries, or a caller mentions they didn't get a booking link text, check your phone's blocked numbers list (on AT&T with ActiveArmor, also check its separate blocked/fraud log, since it can block numbers outside your regular Blocked Contacts list). This typically resolves quickly as the number builds a normal usage history.
